Back in the year 2000, Tiger Woods had what most people consider the greatest year of any professional golfer in history. His scoring average of 67.79 has yet to be topped by any player. He won nine times including three major championships. He did not miss a cut the entire year.
He also had a streak of 110 holes without making a single bogey. It was thought of at that time as a record that would never be broken. That record was broken on Thursday by Jin Young Ko. Ko missed a par putt on her 115th hole to set a new record.
Ko won the CP Women's Open this past Sunday without making a bogey for 72 holes. She is currently the No. 1 ranked player in the world, and has won four tournaments this year including two major championships.
