The LPGA and Golf Canada today announced a three-year partnership with transcontinental railway Canadian Pacific to become title sponsor of the Canadian Women’s Open.
The tournament will be renamed the Canadian Pacific Women's Open. The inaugural event will be held at the London Hunt and Country Club in London, Ontario from August 18-24, 2014.
The LPGA last played at this location in 2006, when Cristie Kerr overcame an 8 shot deficit to win for the eighth time in her career.
Lydia Ko, who will be an LPGA rookie next year, will return as the event's two time defending champion.

According to a tweet by Kraig Kahn, Chief Communications officer for the LPGA, there is more big news coming. He also said the LPGA schedule will be released sooner than last year.
